DescriptionThe whole story▼
Owners of the 2017 to 2019 Honda VFR800F who enjoy a brisk pace will find the AGPA250 front pad from Accossato in the EV1 street/track mixture. This version is for riders who treat their sports tourer as a sports bike on the right road, who join a rider-training programme or who want to see how the V4 behaves on a closed circuit. It adds bite and precision compared with a pure road pad, while remaining suitable for everyday riding.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato developed EV1 street/track for riders who ride fast on the road and occasionally take part in amateur circuit events. According to the maker, the grip is excellent in both cases. The general Accossato aims of slow wear, limited temperature rise against fade and powerful braking apply as well. On the later VFR800F, this mixture gives the front lever a direct and precise feel.
Training Days and Brisk Riding
Advanced rider courses teach how to brake later and more precisely, and they do so with repeated exercises that heat up the brakes. The same happens on a fast road with many bends. EV1 street/track is designed for these loads. Before a course, check that the pads have enough thickness left, that the discs are in good shape and that the fluid is fresh. When fitting new pads, clean the pistons, press them back gently and watch the reservoir level. Afterwards pump the lever until pressure returns and bed the pads in before any hard braking on the VFR800F.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato assigns the AGPA250 to the front of the Honda VFR800F from 2017 to 2019. For the 2014 to 2016 model, the front pad is the AGPA108. The VFR800F has two front calipers, so two boxes are needed. At the rear, Accossato offers the AGPP55 for 2014 to 2019.
Road Approval
For the AGPA250EV1 we have no ABE or German test document. We therefore sell it for racing and track use.
