DescriptionThe whole story▼
Light, nimble and surprisingly eager on a winding road, the Honda Monkey 125 attracts riders who like to push a small bike to its limits, sometimes on a kart track. For the front of the Monkey 125 built from 2019 to 2025, Accossato offers the AGPA160 in its EV1 street/track compound. This version is aimed at owners who ride briskly on back roads, join mini-bike meets or book a first open session on a short circuit, and want a firmer, more direct front brake for it.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's own description of EV1 is excellent grip for street riding and amateur track sessions. It is tuned for a rider who brakes harder and later, on dry asphalt, and who wants the front to respond without hesitation. The company's broader claims for its pads apply: slow wear, strong stopping power and limited heat build-up to hold off fade.
A Small Bike on a Short Circuit
Kart tracks and mini-bike events have become popular places to explore the Monkey 125's handling. Lap after lap of hard stops into tight corners is very different from pottering around town, and a pad designed for that use keeps the lever consistent. EV1 also suits riders who simply enjoy a quick blast through a series of bends on a Sunday morning. On a machine this light, a crisp front brake also makes it easier to place the bike exactly where the rider wants it.
Before the first session, bed the pads in with gradually harder stops. Check the fluid and bleed the system if the lever feels soft, keep the disc clean, and look at pad thickness between sessions.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA160 for the front of the Honda Monkey 125 (Z 125 Monkey in its catalogue) from 2019 to 2025. For the rear of the Monkey 125, the AGPP226 is available. One box covers the single front caliper.
Road Approval
This set has no ABE or German approval in our documents; it is therefore intended for circuit use and competition.
