DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Sportster S RH1250S sits at the sportier end of Harley-Davidson's Sportster range, inviting a different kind of riding than a typical cruiser, and Accossato's EV1 street/track front pad is built for the owners who take that invitation seriously. Fitted to the 2021 to 2025 model, it gives strong, confident bite for fast road riding and holds up for an occasional amateur track day, without needing a different pad for the two.
Key Features
- EV1 street/track compound for the Sportster S RH1250S front caliper
- Listed by Accossato for the 2021 to 2025 model years
- Strong road grip plus amateur track-day capability, according to the maker
- Suited to a Sportster S ridden briskly on fast roads
- No pad change needed between a quick road ride and a first circuit day
- Alternative ST, EV2 and ZXC front compounds exist for the same caliper
- Two pads per box, enough for one front caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato places its EV1 mixture a step above its everyday compounds, built to give strong grip for fast road use and amateur track days rather than for slow, cold commuting. The Sportster S is built for a sportier, more spirited riding style than a typical Harley cruiser, and this compound is built to match that character, with confident initial bite rather than the gentler, more forgiving response suited to a relaxed cruising pace.
A Pad Built for the Bike's New Character
The Sportster S responds to being ridden with intent, and owners who do that on a favourite stretch of road, or who occasionally book a track day, need a front pad that keeps pace. This EV1 set works from a cold start and holds its bite once the pad and the surface have both warmed through, covering the fast road ride on the way there and the circuit outing once the gates finally open with the same single compound rather than two different sets of pads. It is still worth bedding a new set of pads in gradually and pumping the lever a few times after fitting until the bite point feels firm and consistent.
Fitment and Compatibility
This EV1 pad fits the Sportster S RH1250S across the 2021 to 2025 model years. Confirm your exact year before ordering, since the ST, EV2 and ZXC front compounds also share this exact same caliper for riders with rather different priorities in mind.
Road Approval
We hold no test or approval paperwork, including a German ABE or a type approval mark, for this pad, so it is listed for racing and competition use where that is required for road riding. Check your own country's rules before fitting it to a road-going bike.
Scope of Delivery
Two brake pads in the box, one set for a single front caliper. No mounting pins, springs or other hardware are included in the package.
