Small circuits suit small motorcycles. A tight layout with short straights and a great many corners flatters a light single, and organisers of taster days know it, which is why paddocks at such events are full of machines that were never sold as sports bikes. A Fantic Caballero 500 of 2022 or 2023 fits in comfortably. Accossato covers the front of those bikes with the AGPA184 in the EV1 street/track material, article AGPA184EV1, a mixture the company recommends for public roads and for amateur circuit work in the same breath.

Construction and Material Quality
What the maker asks of this material is that it should not have a favourite temperature. The ride to a circuit is made of cold junctions and roundabouts; the session that follows is made of repeated hard stops with no time to cool in between; and the ride home is cold again. Accossato's description of its pad range leans on limited heat build-up and on fade kept at bay, and a short lap with a braking point at each end is a reasonable test of that. Behind the surface the carrier is the shared AGPA184 plate, so all three versions of the article drop into the caliper in the same way.
A Light Single on a Tight Circuit
The appeal of a bike like this on a small track is that nothing happens too fast to learn from. Corner speed matters more than power, the same braking point comes round every forty seconds or so, and a rider can spend a session working on one thing instead of hanging on. That rhythm is demanding in its own quiet way, because the front pad is asked for a firm, similar application many times over with barely a pause between them.
A little preparation makes the day better. Look at the friction thickness the evening before rather than in a noisy paddock, and take a second set if what is left looks marginal. Fresh fluid is worth more than most other preparations on a bike used this way. Between sessions let the Caballero 500 stand in the open rather than parking it hot against a wall, and on the ride home treat the first stop as a cold one again. Back at the garage, a slow look at the disc face with the wheel turning tells you how the day went.
Fitment and Compatibility
Every trim of the second-generation Caballero 500 appears against this pad: Rally, Scrambler and Explorer in 2022 and 2023, Flat Track, Deluxe and Anniversary in 2023, Six Days in 2022. The original 2017 bike is not part of that group and uses the AGPA177 at the front, with no listing at all for the years between them. The AGPP91 is the rear article for both generations. This Fantic has no disc entry in the Accossato programme. A front change means one box, and reading the article number off the old pad remains the surest way to order.
Road Approval
No German ABE exists for the AGPA184EV1 in our documents, nor any inspection certificate, so we list the pads for closed courses and organised events only.
