DescriptionThe whole story▼
The A3N extends to 280 mm, one of the longer bar and two-screw clamp kits Accossato offers for 22 mm constant-diameter handlebars. Two screw clamps bolt the crossbar onto the handlebar at two separate points, and Accossato lists no specific motorcycle fitment for it, supplying the kit as a universal, length-sized accessory.
Key Features
- Bar and two-screw clamp kit for 22 mm constant-diameter handlebars
- 280 mm length, one of the longer kits in this group
- Two-screw clamp mounting at each end
- Universal fitment, no listed vehicle applications
Construction and Material Quality
Two screw-tightened clamps, one at each end of the crossbar, secure the A3N to the handlebar at separate points along its length. At 280 mm, it is sized for a wider handlebar, closer to the roadster and adventure bars covered elsewhere in this project than to the compact steel bars a shorter kit is built for.
A Longer Reach for Wider Bars
A 280 mm span suits a handlebar whose clamp points sit further apart than on a compact or narrow bar, bracing the structure without leaving the crossbar under tension at either end. Riders fitting the A3N to a wide tapered aluminium bar should still confirm the exact clamp spacing before ordering, since a kit built for one span will not seat cleanly on a handlebar whose mounting points sit even a short distance outside it.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato does not pair the A3N with a specific motorcycle; it is defined purely by its 280 mm length, which needs to match the clamp spacing on the handlebar it is fitted to. That spacing, not the bike the bar came from, decides whether the kit fits.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for the A3N; registration rules depend on the country – check before road use.
