DescriptionThe whole story▼
Picking a big enduro bike up is a skill of its own, and on a slope or in mud it can cost more energy than the section you fell in. The KTM 450 EXC-F Six Days is no lightweight, and the way it lies on the ground matters for more than your back: on its left side, the clutch lever carries part of its weight. Accossato's C7303 for the 450 EXC-F Six Days of 2014 to 2017 is a long four-finger clutch lever in black or orange, and its blade can fold instead of taking that weight head-on.

Construction and Material Quality
Orange is the obvious choice on a KTM, black the quieter one, and those are the two blade colours of the C7303. The blade sits on a dark base that stays on the clutch pivot, and a joint between them allows the blade to fold forward. Accossato machines the lever in Italy from solid Ergal 7075, a strong aluminium grade, and names strength, low weight and reliability as the aims behind it. The blade is the long clutch type, with room for four fingers.
Getting It Back on Its Wheels
How you lift a heavy bike depends on how it lies. On level ground, many riders turn their back to the seat, crouch, take the lower grip in one hand and a solid point at the rear in the other, and push up with their legs rather than pulling with their arms. On a slope, turn the bike first so the wheels point downhill or at least across the hill. In mud, clear the front wheel if it is buried. It all takes a moment, and while it happens the weight of the bike rests on the handlebar end and the lever on that side.
If the 450 EXC-F Six Days has fallen to the left, that means the clutch lever. It may survive the fall only to break as the bike is dragged round or levered up. The joint on the C7303 lets the blade give way forward under load, so it has a chance to come through both the fall and the recovery. Once the KTM 450 EXC-F Six Days is upright, pull the clutch a couple of times to feel that it still works, then ride on.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the C7303 for the KTM 450 EXC-F Six Days from 2014 to 2017, a period in which the bike changed its name: KTM called it 450 EXC Six Days up to and including 2016 and added the F from the 2017 model year. The lever fits the original clutch mount. Its partner on the right is the B8303 brake lever, listed for the same years. The C7303 comes in black or orange and the B8303 in black or gold, so black is the only colour both sides share.
Road Approval
There is no documented German ABE for the C7303. If your 450 EXC-F Six Days is registered for the road, bear in mind that the lever is intended for off-road riding and competition and is not approved for public roads.
