DescriptionThe whole story▼
A track day on a Street Triple 675 RX usually begins and ends on the road. You ride to the circuit in the morning, complete your sessions and then ride home tired, often into evening traffic. By then the left hand has done a full day's work, and the position of the clutch lever matters more than it did at breakfast. For the RX, listed for 2015 and 2016, Accossato offers the EST333: a clutch lever machined from aluminium that fits the original clutch mounting and lets you set its distance from the grip.
Key Features
- Clutch lever for the Street Triple 675 RX, 2015 and 2016
- Mounts at the original clutch mounting
- Reach adjustable
- CNC-machined aluminium with anodised finish
- Black hub and a blade in any of seven colours
- Long blade in blue, gold, green and orange; standard about 138 mm
- Fixed lever without a folding joint
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato mills the EST333 from aluminium and anodises it, leaving the hub black and colouring the blade. The hub holds the pivot and the reach adjuster. With no joint along the blade, the lever is rigid from end to end and feels the same in the evening as it did in the morning. Its anodised surface is part of the metal itself, so a day of gloves, tank bag straps and paddock handling cannot wear through a coat of paint, because there is none.
Riding Home After a Track Day
Fatigue after a day on track is real, and most of it shows in the forearms and hands. Hard braking and holding on through several sessions leave the grip weaker and the fingers slower, which is exactly what you do not want in rush-hour traffic on the way home. A few habits help. Drink plenty through the day, stop before you are exhausted rather than after, and rest before you set off for home. Then think about the left hand. If you set the EST333 close to the grip for the track, check it again before the ride home and adjust it to the gloves you will wear on the road. The long blade, made in blue, gold, green and orange, reduces the effort at every stop in traffic. On the Street Triple 675 RX, a lever set for tired fingers makes the journey home noticeably calmer.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato names the Street Triple 675 RX for the EST333, which takes the place of the stock lever at the original clutch mounting; the RX arrived for the 2015 model year, so this product covers 2015 and 2016. Its brake lever for the same bike is the EDF035, so the whole cockpit can be finished in one colour.
Road Approval
The EST333 is sold for the track, because a German ABE has not been documented for it.
