DescriptionThe whole story▼
A touring day on the Sprint GT 1050 is mostly smooth: top gear, steady throttle, the clutch left alone. Then come the stops that punctuate every long trip, toll booths, border checks, the slow shuffle onto a ferry, and for half an hour the clutch is in constant use. The EST333 is a CNC-machined aluminium clutch lever from Accossato for the Sprint GT of 2011 to 2015. It fits at the original clutch mounting and can be adjusted for reach, so the blade sits where your gloved fingers expect it.
Key Features
- Clutch lever for the Sprint GT 1050 of 2011 to 2015
- Fits the original clutch mounting
- Adjustable span
- Long blade for a lighter pull in blue, gold, green and orange
- Short blade in five colours; standard approximately 138 mm in all seven
- CNC-machined aluminium, anodised
- Black hub, fixed one-piece blade
Construction and Material Quality
The EST333 is milled from aluminium and anodised in two tones. The black hub holds the pivot and the adjuster; the blade takes the colour. It is a fixed lever, one piece from pivot to tip, with no small parts along the blade to loosen through vibration or wear. Anodising produces a finish that belongs to the metal rather than coating it, which suits a motorcycle that spends its holidays outdoors, in sun one day and rain the next.
Toll Booths and Ferry Queues
Stop-start queues on a trip are different from commuting traffic. The bike is heavier with luggage and often a passenger, the ground may be ramped, wet or covered in steel plates, and you move forward a few metres at a time. At a toll booth there is the added task of pulling off a glove, paying and moving away again without holding up the lane. All of it needs a clutch you can slip smoothly without thinking about it. Set the EST333 on the Sprint GT 1050 with your touring gloves on, so that the friction zone sits comfortably inside the grip of your fingers. The long blade, available in blue, gold, green or orange, adds leverage and lightens the pull when you are holding the clutch for long periods. On a ferry ramp or a wet deck, keep the revs low and let the clutch do the work gradually. With the weight of a loaded bike behind you, a lever you can meter precisely makes those moments much calmer.
Fitment and Compatibility
The EST333 is listed by Accossato for this bike across the 2011 to 2015 model years, under its own name for it, Sprint 1050 GT. It goes in place of the stock clutch lever at the original mounting. If you want both levers of the Sprint GT 1050 to match, the EDF014 brake lever covers the same years in the same colours and lengths.
Road Approval
A German ABE is not documented for the EST333, which is therefore sold for track use.
