DescriptionThe whole story▼
Over a long production life, the Speed Triple 1050 changed its face more than once, so when you order parts for one, the model year matters. The EST333 is the clutch lever Accossato lists for the Speed Triple 1050 from 2005 to 2016, a span that covers the bikes with round twin headlamps and the revised model of 2011. It is CNC-machined from aluminium, anodised and fitted at the original clutch mounting, with a reach to the grip that you can adjust.
Key Features
- Clutch lever for the Speed Triple 1050, listed for 2005 to 2016
- Mounts at the original clutch mounting
- Adjustable reach
- Black hub with blade in black, blue, red, orange, gold, silver or green
- Standard length approximately 138 mm; short and long in selected colours
- Machined from aluminium, anodised
- Fixed blade, no hinge
Construction and Material Quality
The EST333 is milled from aluminium and anodised. As on the rest of Accossato's lever range, the hub is black and holds the pivot and the adjuster, while the blade carries the colour. There is no joint in the blade, which is one fixed piece, so its behaviour does not change over time. The finish, formed within the metal's surface, also keeps its colour better than paint on an unfaired bike that sees rain and sun alike.
Which Speed Triple Is Yours
Triumph's 1050 Speed Triple arrived in the mid-2000s with the twin round headlamps that had become the model's signature. For 2011 it was reworked, with a new frame and the angular twin lamps that give the later bikes their look. In 2016 came another update, with revised bodywork and electronic rider aids. Those generations matter for the clutch lever. Accossato lists the EST333 for the bikes up to 2016 and a second lever, the EST333P, for 2016 to 2020, so the changeover falls in the 2016 model year. If your bike is a 2016, look at the original lever and compare it with the product photos of both before ordering. For all earlier Speed Triple 1050 models, from the round-lamp bikes through the 2011 generation, the EST333 is the one Accossato lists.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's entries for the EST333 on the Speed Triple 1050 run in several steps from 2005 to 2016. The lever replaces the stock clutch lever at the original mounting and can be adjusted for reach once fitted. Accossato's brake lever for this bike, the EDF099, is listed from 2010 to 2020 and is available in the same colours, so the clutch and brake sides can be matched on the bikes that both listings cover.
Road Approval
The EST333 has no German ABE on record and is sold for use on the track.
