DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Brutale 675 is a compact motorcycle, and riders who are tall or have large hands notice it first at the controls. A clutch lever set for an average hand can leave long fingers bunched up against the grip, so the pull begins before they have properly wrapped round the blade. Accossato's ESM048 is a machined aluminium clutch lever for the MV Agusta Brutale 675 of 2012 to 2017. Its distance to the grip can be adjusted outwards as well as inwards, and a long blade is one of the three lengths on offer.
Key Features

- Reach adjustable in both directions
- Long blade in blue, gold, green or orange for large hands
- Short and standard (approximately 138 mm) versions as well
- CNC-machined aluminium, anodised, black hub
- Fixed blade, no hinge
- In an Accossato box
Construction and Material Quality
The ESM048 begins as aluminium stock that is milled to shape on CNC machines and then anodised. That last step matters more than it seems: it turns the surface into a tough oxide layer that carries the colour, so the blade keeps its finish where the fingertips rub instead of wearing through. The hub is black on every lever and contains the pivot and the reach mechanism. No folding joint breaks up the blade; it is rigid from one end to the other.
Long Fingers on a Compact Naked
For a rider with long fingers, the right clutch lever position is often a little further from the grip than the factory setting, so that the fingers can hook round the blade at their middle joints before the pull begins. Winding the adjuster of the ESM048 outwards does exactly that. The blade length then decides how much room the whole hand has. The long blade gives all four fingers space and moves the point of pull further from the pivot, which lightens the effort over a day of riding. Tall riders on the Brutale 675 often sit with their elbows raised and their hands coming at the levers from above; if that describes you, set the reach in your normal riding posture, not standing beside the bike. Those who work the clutch with two fingers can choose the short blade, and the standard length remains the neutral choice. Whichever setting you end up with, check that the clutch frees completely with the lever at the grip and engages fully when you let go.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the ESM048 for the Brutale 675 from 2012 to 2017; the lever replaces the stock one at the clutch mounting MV Agusta fitted. The EDF015 brake lever is listed for the same years, so the two can be ordered as a pair. The same clutch lever reference also appears for the Brutale 800 and for the F3.
Road Approval
For the ESM048 there is no German ABE on record; it is therefore offered for track riding only.
