DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato lists its ESH011 clutch lever for a single model year of the Panigale V2: 2020, the year the V2 took over from the 959. If your bike is from that year, this is a machined aluminium replacement for the original clutch lever, fitted to the standard clutch mounting, with an adjustable distance to the grip and a blade in one of seven anodised colours. Where it helps most is at the slowest speeds the V2 is ever ridden, with the bars on full lock.
Key Features
- Clutch lever for the 2020 Panigale V2
- Fitted on the original clutch mounting
- Reach to the grip adjustable
- Standard blade approximately 138 mm; short and long in selected colours
- CNC-machined aluminium, anodised
- Hub in black, blade in black, blue, red, orange, gold, silver or green
- Fixed lever without a hinge
- No German ABE documented; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato machines the ESH011 from solid aluminium with CNC tools and then anodises it: black for the hub, the colour of your choice for the blade. Anodising converts the outer layer of the metal into a hard oxide that holds the dye, so the colour is part of the lever rather than a coat on top of it. The lever is fixed, with no folding section, and the adjuster that sets the distance to the grip is set into the hub near the pivot.
Turning Round at Full Lock
Superbikes with clip-on bars have little steering lock, and turning the Panigale V2 round in a narrow road or easing it out of a tight parking space means walking pace, full lock and a clutch held in its slipping zone while the rear brake steadies the bike. The less effort the left hand needs to hold that zone, the calmer the turn. With the blade brought in so that the fingers already rest on it, you can keep a steady slip without the forearm tensing. A long blade, available in four of the seven colours, adds leverage for this; the standard version stays closest to the feel of the original. After fitting, practise in an empty car park: find where the drive begins, keep the revs constant, and let the clutch rather than the throttle set the speed.
Fitment and Compatibility
Only the 2020 Panigale V2 appears on Accossato's list for this clutch lever. For V2s from 2021 onwards, the ESH011 is not listed, so check the model year in your vehicle documents before ordering. The brake lever for the same bike, the EDF099, is listed from 2020 to 2024 and comes in the same colours and lengths as the ESH011, if you want the pair to match.
Road Approval
Without a documented German ABE, the ESH011 is supplied for track use.
