DescriptionThe whole story▼
When Triumph replaced the 675 with the Street Triple 765 in 2017, the S became the entry point to the new range. For this bike Accossato lists not one but two brake levers, and the EDF014 is one of them: a CNC-machined aluminium lever for the Street Triple 765 S of 2017 to 2019, fitted to the original master cylinder, with an adjustable distance to the grip and three blade lengths.
Key Features
- Brake lever for the Street Triple 765 S, 2017 to 2019
- Fits the original front master cylinder
- Adjustable reach
- Machined from aluminium on CNC equipment
- Anodised: black hub, blade in seven colours
- Blade lengths short, standard (approximately 138 mm) and long, by colour
- Fixed blade, no folding joint
Construction and Material Quality
Aluminium, CNC machining and anodising: that is the whole recipe of the EDF014. The hub, which carries the pivot and the reach adjuster, comes out black; the blade takes whichever colour you order. Pivot and tip are joined by one continuous piece of metal. Anodising builds the colour into the aluminium's surface, so it wears slowly and does not lift at the edges, even on a naked bike whose levers face rain, sun and the occasional knock.
Why Two Brake Levers Are Listed
Accossato's list shows both the EDF014 and the EDF035 against the Street Triple 765 S for the same 2017 to 2019 model years, and it does not say why. Two parts for one model can reflect a change during production or a difference between markets, but for this bike Accossato does not state which applies, so the practical step is to compare rather than guess. Before ordering, look closely at your original brake lever: the shape of the hub around the pivot, the point where the lever presses on the master cylinder, and the outline of the blade. Then compare it with the product photos of the EDF014 and the EDF035. If the bike has been modified, for example with a different master cylinder, the photos are the reference, not the model name. A clear photo of your own lever, taken from above and from the side, makes the comparison much easier. It takes a few minutes and saves returning a lever that does not suit your Street Triple 765 S.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the EDF014 for the Street Triple 765 S from 2017 to 2019, for the original master cylinder. The alternative brake lever for the same bike and years is the EDF035. For the clutch, Accossato lists a single lever, the EST333P, also for 2017 to 2019.
Road Approval
Documented German road approval (ABE) is not available for the EDF014; it is sold for track use.
