DescriptionThe whole story▼
The RX gave the Street Triple 675 a sportier look, and its paint and graphics set it apart from the other versions. On a bike like that, the brake lever is also a styling decision. Made by Accossato from CNC-machined aluminium, the EDF035 takes the place of the stock brake lever on the Street Triple 675 RX, listed for 2015 and 2016. Its distance to the grip is adjustable, and its blade comes in one of seven anodised colours.
Key Features
- Brake lever for the Street Triple 675 RX, listed for 2015 and 2016
- Fitted to the original master cylinder
- Distance to the grip adjustable
- Blade colours: black, blue, red, orange, gold, silver, green
- Standard blade approximately 138 mm in every colour
- Short and long blades in selected colours
- CNC-machined aluminium, anodised, black hub
- Fixed, one-piece lever
Construction and Material Quality
CNC machining from aluminium comes first, anodising second. The result is a lever in two tones: an understated black hub carrying the pivot and reach adjuster, and a blade that carries the colour. Because anodised colour forms within the surface of the aluminium, it looks even from every angle and does not chip at the edges the way paint can. Between hub and tip the blade is fixed, with no hinge.
Matching the Colour to the RX
Choosing a lever colour for the Street Triple 675 RX starts with the paint. If your bike has red details, a red blade can repeat them; on a light-coloured bike, silver or black keeps the cockpit calm; and gold can act as a contrast on a dark one, especially where other anodised parts are gold as well. Orange, green and blue are the bold options, strongest when they echo something else on the bike. A few practical points shape the choice. Black and red are made only in the standard length, silver also comes short, and blue, gold, green and orange are available in short, standard and long. If you want a short blade for track days, that rules out black and red. It is also worth thinking about the clutch side at the same time, since Accossato's EST333 for this bike comes in the same colours, and a pair in matching finishes looks deliberate rather than accidental.
Fitment and Compatibility
In Accossato's list, the EDF035 is shown for the Street Triple 675 RX, working with the original master cylinder; as the RX arrived for the 2015 model year, this product covers 2015 and 2016. The R version of the Street Triple 675 is listed with this lever as well. For the clutch, the RX takes the EST333 across the same span.
Road Approval
For use on German roads no ABE is documented, so the EDF035 is sold for the track.
