DescriptionThe whole story▼
This closed nut covers the same M24x1 thread as SA005, finishing the top of the CBR 600 RR's steering head without leaving any of the fastener exposed, and doing it in a run of eight anodised colours rather than the seven the open version carries. Accossato machines it from aluminium on CNC equipment, and whichever version a rider picks, the job it does at the steering head stays unchanged.

Construction and Material Quality
CNC-machined from aluminium and anodised in eight colours, blue, green, black, orange, red, silver, titanium and gold, this nut carries the same M24x1 thread as SA005 and performs the identical function: fixing the plate to the steering stem. The extra orange option is the only difference in what Accossato offers between the two versions, beyond the open or closed shape itself.
Colour at a Point Most Riders Ignore
Few riders think about the steering stem nut when planning how a bike's colours should come together, since it sits at a point most never look at closely, but on a stripped-down supersport cockpit it is directly ahead of the rider every time they tuck in. Matching it to the mirror covers or fork preload setup already on the bike turns an overlooked fastener into part of a considered colour scheme rather than an afterthought, and the extra orange shade is one more way to make that scheme distinct.
Fitment and Compatibility
Years here match the open nut: the CBR 600 RR built between 2005 and 2016. It is the M24x1 thread, shared outside Honda, that puts it on the CB 1000 R and three Triumph models, the Daytona 675 and both versions of the Street Triple 675. SA005, mirror covers MC003 and swingarm bobbins ST002 and ST008 are the remaining Accossato parts for this CBR 600 RR.
Road Approval
No test or approval documents, including an ABE, sit in our files for this nut, so it is offered for racing and competition use.
