DescriptionThe whole story▼
The TM Racing EN 250 4T is a four-stroke enduro bike that Accossato also covers with its by Marchald filter line, listing part AC5070 against the EN 250 FI built between 2015 and 2018. Accossato says the filter is built with off-road materials and technology for sustained hard use, and the foam element pictured carries the Accossato by Marchald print. A second Accossato filter, part MTM704, is listed for the same machine.
Key Features
- Accossato by Marchald air filter, part AC5070, for the TM Racing EN 250 4T (EN 250 FI), built 2015 to 2018
- Foam filter element carrying the Accossato by Marchald print
- Accossato's own description: built with off-road materials and technology for sustained hard use
- A second Accossato filter, part MTM704, is also listed for this bike
- Accossato lists the same filter for the GasGas EC 250, the Sherco SEF 300 and the TM Racing MX 450 4T
- No approval documentation on file; built for off-road and competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's own notes on the AC5070 cover the fitment and the build years and state that off-road materials and technology sit behind it, with the foam's actual job being to keep dust out of the throttle body side of the engine; no oil is supplied in the box. The foam element carries the Accossato by Marchald print and is cut to the standard air box shape used on this bike. A filter that has gone hard and brittle at the rim, or that has picked up a split from being forced into place, is no longer worth refitting.
Two Filters, One Bike
With both the AC5070 and the MTM704 listed against the EN 250 4T, it is worth being clear about which one is actually in the bike before ordering a replacement. Checking the part number on the filter being removed, or comparing it against Accossato's application list, settles the question faster than guessing from memory. Owners who keep a record of which filter code their bike takes avoid reordering the wrong one a second time. Keeping an example of each code on the shelf as a spare still means a swap does not wait on finding the exact listing again.
Fitment and Compatibility
Against the EN 250 FI, built for 2015 to 2018, Accossato names both the AC5070 and the MTM704 as filters that fit, so the build years given here apply to either part number. The AC5070 side of that listing stretches further to the GasGas EC 250, the Sherco SEF 300 and the TM Racing MX 450 4T. Settling which of the two codes belongs on a specific bike comes down to reading the part number off the filter that comes out, rather than guessing from memory.
Road Approval
No approval documentation is on file for the AC5070, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use only; it is not intended for road-registered motorcycles.
Scope of Delivery
