DescriptionThe whole story▼
By the time Ducati reached the 1299, the last of the twin-cylinder Panigale superbikes sold in 2018 as the R Final Edition, the clutch hydraulics still matched the layout used on the very first 899 and 1199 models, so this single-hose Accossato kit continues to cover it. The hose follows the Clutch layout the whole range shares, running the same path to the slave cylinder as every Panigale before it.
Key Features
- Single braided hose for the Panigale 1299's hydraulic clutch circuit
- Same part shared across the 899, 959, 1199 and 1299 Panigale generations
- Clutch (C) layout, matching the original hose routing
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings as standard, or painted stainless in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
The hose is built the same way as every other application of this part: a woven stainless braid over the pressure line, with the fitting finish available bare or painted in red, green, blue, black or gold. Six years and three engine sizes separate the first 899 from this 1299, yet the clutch hose construction has not needed to change across any of them.
The Last of the Twin-Cylinder Panigales
The 1299 R Final Edition marked the end of the line for the twin-cylinder Panigale before Ducati moved to the V4 architecture, but the hydraulic clutch circuit on this final version was carried over unchanged from the earlier 1199 and 899 models. That continuity is exactly why Accossato has never needed to split this clutch kit into separate parts by model or year.
Fitment and Compatibility
The 1299 R Final Edition, sold in 2018, takes this clutch hose just as the 1199 R, 1199 S, 899, 959 and 1299 Superleggera all do, since none of those models ever needed a different part for the clutch circuit. What does differ by model is the brake-line kit, so check the Fitment tab separately to find the layout and hose count that match this particular Panigale's brakes.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
1 braided hose for the Clutch layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
