DescriptionThe whole story▼
This Accossato braided clutch hose is built for the Aprilia DORSODURO 1200, covering the 2010-2016 production run. Supplied as a single hose in the Clutch layout, it follows the same routing as the factory line from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder, so it bolts straight into the existing mounting points. A stainless braid keeps its shape under lever pressure in a way rubber eventually stops doing, which helps the clutch action stay consistent as the hose ages.
Key Features
- Clutch layout (C) hose, developed to match the routing used on this model
- Braid available in twenty sheath colours
- Fittings available in plain stainless steel or painted stainless steel in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Supplied as 1 braided clutch hose
- Aeronautical-grade stainless-steel braid resists abrasion and the swelling that affects rubber over time
- Direct fit for the 2010-2016 Aprilia DORSODURO 1200
- Designed and specified by Accossato for this clutch circuit
Construction and Material Quality
The braid covering this hose is an aeronautical-grade stainless-steel weave over the inner core, chosen for its resistance to abrasion and the gradual softening that limits a rubber hose's working life. Banjo fittings supplied with the kit are stainless steel, available either plain or painted in red, green, blue, black or gold, matching how Accossato offers fittings across its braided-hose range generally. Twenty sheath colours are available for this kit, giving the DORSODURO 1200 owner a wide choice for matching the rest of the bike.
Clutch Layout and Hose Routing
On the DORSODURO 1200, the Clutch layout carries the single hose along the same path the original line takes, down from the handlebar lever to the engine case without a second length feeding into it anywhere along the run. With only one hose in the circuit there is nothing extra to flex under pressure, which is part of why the lever feel stays consistent over time. Fitting the hose means clipping it clear of moving parts and bleeding the clutch hydraulics fully once it is installed.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit is designed around the Aprilia DORSODURO 1200 built between 2010 and 2016, for the Clutch layout fitted to that model. The same hose design also covers the DORSODURO 750, which uses an identical Clutch-layout routing across its own production years; full fitment details for both are listed on the Fitment tab. Picking the right listing for the year and model matters here, since the clutch circuit on this bike does not share hardware with the brake lines.
Road Approval
No ABE or parts certificate is documented by Accossato for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
Supplied in this kit is 1 braided clutch hose for the Clutch layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and washers should be checked beforehand, as these are not confirmed to be included.
