DescriptionThe whole story▼
For the current Yamaha YZ125, built from 2022 to 2024, Accossato specifies a single brake hose rather than the two-hose kits it lists for earlier model years, reflecting a change Yamaha made to the brake circuit for this generation. The same part also covers the 2022–2024 YZ250, since both two-stroke models share this simplified brake routing. Because this is the most recent generation of YZ125, replacement hoses for it are comparatively easy to source compared with parts for some of the older model years Accossato also lists.
Key Features
- Single brake hose built to the Standard (S) layout
- Shared part also listed for the 2022–2024 YZ250
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Painted stainless steel fittings in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Every hose in the kit finished to the same specification
Construction and Material Quality
One run of stainless braid covers the inner line end to end, terminating in fittings turned from stainless steel that this part offers either bare or in one of five paint colours. A single hose like this is a quick, low-cost line to swap out, and the colour chosen stands out clearly rather than being one of several similar hoses on the bike.
A Simplified Circuit on the Current YZ125
Where the 2015–2016 and 2020–2021 YZ125 both needed two hoses, this current generation's brake circuit needs only one, which is why Accossato lists it as its own part rather than extending an earlier kit to cover it.
Fitment and Compatibility
This hose fits the Yamaha YZ125 built between 2022 and 2024, and the same part also fits the Yamaha YZ250 of those years. For the 2020–2021 YZ125, which also covers the YZ250 and YZ250X, Accossato lists the two-hose kit under part AGA0262, and for the earlier 2015–2016 YZ125, the two-hose kit under part AGA0046. Confirming the build year against Accossato's fitment tab avoids confusion with the two-hose kits used on both earlier generations of this model. It is worth keeping this part number separate in stock from the two-hose kits, since fitting the wrong one will leave a hose either missing or left over.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 1 braided hose for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
