DescriptionThe whole story▼
This Accossato hose replaces a single rubber brake line on the Yamaha WR250F, covering both the 2007 to 2014 production run and the model's return from 2020 to 2023, with aeronautical braid along the factory's own path. Enduro riders pushing a WR250F through rocks and roots rely on precise, predictable braking to manage traction on loose surfaces, and a hose that has not softened with age makes it easier to feel exactly how much bite is being asked for at any given moment.
Key Features
- Single brake hose built to the Standard (S) layout
- Covers both production spells of the WR250F
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Painted stainless steel fittings in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Same part shared with the WR450F and YZ250FX built on the same platform
Construction and Material Quality
The hose is a single run of stainless braid over the inner line, capped with fittings made from stainless steel that Accossato also offers painted in five colours on this part. Off-road bikes pick up mud and scuffs quickly, so a darker braid colour is a practical choice as much as a styling one, though the full twenty-shade range is available for riders who would rather make the hose stand out.
One Hose Across a Shared Platform
Yamaha built the WR250F, WR450F and YZ250FX around common chassis and brake components for a long stretch of their development, which is why Accossato lists one hose against all three rather than tooling a separate part for each. For the WR250F, that means the hose fitted here is identical to the one sold against its 450cc and motocross-oriented siblings; only the motorcycle named on a given listing changes.
Fitment and Compatibility
This hose fits the Yamaha WR250F built from 2007 to 2014 and again from 2020 to 2023. The same part also fits the Yamaha WR450F across its own production spells and the YZ250FX built from 2015 to 2021, since all three share this brake hardware; for the WR250F's intermediate 2015–2016 and 2017–2019 model years, Accossato instead lists separate kits under parts AGF9023 and AGF9016.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 1 braided hose for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
