Where some MT-09 generations keep a short section of rigid metal pipe in the brake circuit, this Accossato kit does the opposite: it replaces that pipe with hose, bringing the full run from master cylinder to caliper onto braided line. On the 2019 and 2020 MT-09, that rigid section sits partway along the line to one of the calipers, and swapping it for hose removes a joint that can loosen or corrode over years of use, while also giving a slightly more direct lever feel than the stiffer pipe allows.

Construction and Material Quality
Each of the five hoses is a stainless braid sheath over the inner line, finished with fittings made from stainless steel; the part ships only in that bare finish, so the set carries one consistent look however many of the twenty available braid colours end up mixed across the bike. The hose replacing the former rigid pipe is built to the same pressure tolerance as the rest of the set, not a lighter-duty substitute.
Why This Version Removes the Rigid Pipe
Accossato lists this 2019–2020 bike specifically as replacing the rigid hardline, meaning the fifth hose in this kit takes over a section that would otherwise stay as metal pipe on the bike. That is different from the 2021–2023 standard bike and SP, where Accossato's equivalent kit instead keeps that pipe in place, and from the 2018 SP, which uses the same replace-the-pipe approach as this one.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Yamaha MT-09 built in 2019 and 2020, and the same part also covers the 2018 MT-09 SP. For the 2021–2023 MT-09 and MT-09 SP, which retain the rigid pipe, Accossato lists a separate seven-hose kit under part AGA0220; for the older 2014–2018 ABS MT-09 there is a different five-hose listing again.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 5 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
