DescriptionThe whole story▼
This Accossato kit replaces the five rubber brake hoses on the Suzuki SV650 built between 2016 and 2018 with a braided set that keeps the same routing as the parts it takes off. The SV650 of these years left the factory with ABS, and the rubber lines Suzuki fitted soften under repeated hard use, which takes some of the bite out of the lever over time. Swapping to stainless braid restores a firmer, more consistent feel without altering anything else on the brake system.
Key Features
- Five-hose set matched to the SV650's original Standard layout
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings, the only finish offered for this part
- Resists the ballooning that softens lever feel in the rubber hoses it replaces
- Supplied as a complete braided hose kit under this part number
Construction and Material Quality
Every hose in the set pairs a stainless braid over the inner line with fittings made from stainless steel at each end. Because this part is only offered with the bare steel finish, the five lines keep a uniform look rather than mixing a painted fitting with the braid colour. The choice sits entirely in the sheath, where twenty shades are available, from plain black or silver through to the brighter neon tones, without changing how the hose behaves under pressure.
Standard Layout on the SV650
Accossato lists this set under the S designation, meaning the five lines follow the same paths the factory hoses used rather than being re-routed. Each line follows the same path from the master cylinder to the caliper it serves that the stock hose did, so no other bracket on the bike needs to move. For an owner upgrading straight off the original hoses, the job stays limited to the hose itself, with the feel at the lever the only thing that changes once the system is bled.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit is built for the Suzuki SV650, the ABS-equipped L7–L8 model sold between 2016 and 2018. Accossato lists the same five-hose Standard-layout configuration separately for the 2019 SV650 under part AGA0214, so riders with a 2019 bike should check that listing rather than this one.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 5 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
