DescriptionThe whole story▼
This kit brings Accossato's braided brake hose technology to the 2011-2018 Suzuki GSX-R 750, replacing the factory rubber brake line with a stainless-steel braided hose made to the Over-the-Mudguard layout. The kit is suited to spirited road riding and circuit sessions, where brake feel is part of the confidence to push on. Because a braid resists swelling in a way plain rubber cannot, more of the lever movement goes directly into clamping force at the caliper.
Key Features
- Minimal hose expansion under pressure for a firmer, more consistent lever feel
- Fittings available in plain stainless steel or painted stainless steel in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Over-the-Mudguard layout, routing pressure to the right caliper and across to the left caliper
- Kit supplied as 3 braided hoses to suit this specific layout
- Direct replacement for the factory rubber brake line on this specific model and year range
- Stainless-steel braid resists the expansion a rubber hose shows under pressure
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's hose for the GSX-R 750 takes an aviation-grade stainless-steel braided sheath as its outer covering, built to outlast the rubber line it replaces, year after year, on this particular 2011-2018 application. The banjo fittings supplied with this kit are stainless steel across the board, offered in plain stainless steel or in red, green, blue, black or gold painted stainless steel, the standard fitting specification Accossato uses on its braided hose kits. Twenty sheath colours are offered for this kit, which hands the final styling call on the GSX-R 750 to whoever is ordering the kit. As the fittings are also available painted, the whole kit's look is genuinely configurable.
Over-the-Mudguard Layout and Hose Routing
Following the Over-the-Mudguard layout, the first hose in this kit runs from the pump to the right-hand caliper on the GSX-R 750, and the second then continues from that caliper across to the left-hand caliper over the mudguard, specific to the 2011-2018 production. Installing the hoses on the GSX-R 750 in that order keeps the routing exactly as intended. The brake system still needs a full bleed once the hoses are in place.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit is designed around the Suzuki GSX-R 750 built in the 2011-2018 period, in the Over-the-Mudguard layout. A separate kit is also available for this Suzuki GSX-R 750; this one is the Over-the-Mudguard layout specifically, so choose carefully between the options. This fitment is deliberately narrow to the bike, which fits a bike that is built for riders who brake hard and often, whether on a circuit or a fast stretch of road.
Road Approval
No ABE or parts certificate is documented by Accossato for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
Included here are 3 braided brake hoses, matched to the Over-the-Mudguard layout. As banjo bolts and sealing washers are not confirmed to be part of the kit, check your own hardware before fitting.
