DescriptionThe whole story▼
KTM built the FREERIDE 250 R with its brake circuit split into two lines, and Accossato's AGF5023 replaces both rubber lines with braided hoses in Standard layout, covering the 2012 to 2016 model years.
Key Features
- Braided brake hose kit for the KTM FREERIDE 250 R, 2012 to 2016
- Standard layout, matching the factory hose routing
- Kit supplied as 2 braided hoses
- Stainless steel or painted stainless fittings
- Sheath available in 20 colours
- Direct replacement for the factory rubber brake lines on this specific model and year range
- Aeronautical-grade braid construction
Construction and Material Quality
Both hoses that make up the AGF5023 share an aeronautical-grade stainless-steel braid, built to resist stretch under brake-lever pressure better than the rubber lines it replaces, across the full 2012 to 2016 range. A painted stainless fitting is available on this kit in red, green, blue, black or gold, alongside the plain stainless option Accossato also supplies. The braid's separate 20-colour sheath range lets a buyer pick fitting colour and braid colour independently. Both fittings on a given AGF5023 are supplied in the same finish, whether plain stainless or one of the painted colours, so the two hoses always match each other even though their individual lengths differ to reach each caliper.
Standard Layout and Hose Routing
Two separate lines make up the brake circuit on this model, and Standard layout under the AGF5023 keeps both braided hoses on that same split rather than merging or rerouting them. Each hose simply takes over the exact span between master cylinder and caliper that its rubber predecessor covered. Once both are connected, the system needs a full bleed, since trapped air left in either line is what causes a soft or inconsistent lever.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGF5023 for the KTM FREERIDE 250 R across 2012 to 2016, in the Standard layout covered here. The identical two-hose brake kit also fits the FREERIDE 350 for the same years, since both models share the same brake-circuit design; a separate single-hose clutch kit, the AGC5023, covers only the clutch line and must be ordered on its own.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for the AGF5023, so this kit is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
This kit includes 2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Banjo bolts and sealing washers are not confirmed as included, so check the existing hardware on the bike before fitting.
