DescriptionThe whole story▼
For the same 2009–2015 generation of the 125SX, Accossato lists a separate two-hose brake kit entirely apart from the clutch hose covering the identical model years, bringing braided line to both the front and rear circuit in the standard S layout. The fitting comes either plain in stainless steel or painted in one of five colours, with twenty sheath colours offered for the braid.
Key Features
- Two-hose set for the 2009–2015 125SX, front and rear
- Standard S-layout routing
- Stainless steel or painted stainless fittings in five colours
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- A brake kit distinct from the 125SX's own clutch hose, AGC5000
Construction and Material Quality
The pair here uses stainless aeronautical braid finished with either a bare stainless steel fitting or one painted in five available colours, alongside the usual twenty sheath shades. None of that changes between the brake kit and the bike's separate clutch hose; only the number of lines and where they run differs.
This 125SX's Older Brake Kit
Where the 2016–2025 125SX takes the kit AGA0261, this earlier 2009–2015 generation uses a different brake part number entirely, one that also covers the 150SX, 250SX-F and 350SX-F built across the same seven seasons. The clutch hose for these identical model years is a separate code again, AGC5000, which this brake kit does not include. None of these three codes, the two brake kits and the one clutch part, overlaps with another in terms of which hoses it actually supplies. A buyer ordering by model name alone should still confirm the exact year, since the 125SX name spans several unrelated Accossato codes. Buyers restoring an older SX should expect to order both the brake and clutch parts separately if both circuits are being upgraded at once.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the KTM 125SX built from 2009 to 2015, and the same part also covers the 150SX, 250SX-F and 350SX-F from those years. For the clutch circuit on the same bikes, use AGC5000 instead. A 2016–2025 125SX needs AGA0261.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
