DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's braided kit for the 2021–2025 Husqvarna FC 450 carries the front and rear brake circuit on two stainless-braid hoses, laid out in the S pattern that keeps the same hose routing the bike left the factory with. Rather than rerouting the lines, the kit swaps the rubber-covered originals for braided line from the master cylinder down to each caliper, firming up the lever without touching how the circuit is arranged across the chassis. Because stainless braid stretches far less than rubber under pressure, the lever tends to feel more direct once the system is bled.
Key Features
- Two-hose set for the 2021–2025 FC 450, front and rear
- Standard S-layout routing, matching the stock hose path
- Stainless steel fittings at each end
- Aeronautical braid sheath, available in 20 colours
- Supplied only in stainless steel for this part number
- Shared part number across most of Husqvarna's current four-stroke range
Construction and Material Quality
Both hoses use an aeronautical braid sheath over the inner line, finished at each end with stainless steel fittings; this part number is supplied only in that bare steel finish, so colour choice is limited to the braid rather than a painted fitting. Twenty sheath colours are available, letting the owner match the hose to the rest of the bike without changing the fitting's finish. Fitting a braided kit is a straightforward swap, since the routing itself stays exactly as the factory laid it out.
What the S Layout Keeps the Same
Layout S means the hose pair follows the same path the stock lines take, so fitting this kit is a direct swap rather than a rerouting job: the front hose still runs from the master cylinder to the front caliper, and the rear hose still runs down to the rear caliper, just in braided line instead of rubber. Because the routing is unchanged, the two-hose count matches what the FC 450 already carries from the factory, and a workshop familiar with the stock layout can fit the kit without rethinking where each line travels.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit is listed for the Husqvarna FC 450 built from 2021 to 2025. Accossato lists the same part number across the rest of the current four-stroke range too, covering the FC 250, FC 350, FX 450 and both the TC 125 and TC 250 two-strokes, so one kit code serves most of the current motocross line-up. Earlier FC 450s built before 2021 use a different part, AGA0261, which is also offered with painted fittings; check the model year before ordering.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
