DescriptionThe whole story▼
Honda's NSF250R, listed by Accossato under its Moto3 designation, runs two separate brake lines rather than one continuous hose. The AGF2001 replaces both rubber lines with braided equivalents, built to Standard layout for the 2011 to 2016 model years this kit covers.
Key Features
- Braided brake hose kit for the Honda NSF250R, 2011 to 2016
- Standard layout, matching the factory hose routing
- Kit supplied as 2 braided hoses
- Stainless steel or painted stainless fittings
- Sheath available in 20 colours
- Direct replacement for the factory rubber brake line on this specific model and year range
- Aeronautical-grade braid construction
Construction and Material Quality
Each of the two hoses in the AGF2001 is wrapped in an aeronautical-grade stainless-steel braid, which resists stretching under brake-lever pressure far better than the rubber it replaces, across the full 2011 to 2016 range. Rather than a single stainless finish, this kit offers a painted stainless fitting in red, green, blue, black or gold as an alternative. A separate 20-colour sheath range means the fitting's colour and the braid's colour need not match. Both braided hoses are built to the same specification as each other, the two only differing in the path length each must cover to its own caliper.
Standard Layout and Hose Routing
Two hoses cover the brake circuit on the NSF250R, and Standard layout under the AGF2001 means both keep to the exact course their rubber predecessors took from master cylinder to caliper. Nothing about how the lines are clipped or routed changes with this kit; only the hose itself and its fittings do. Once the braided hoses are in place of the rubber originals, the system has to be bled fully, as any air left in either line will show up as a soft lever rather than a firm one.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGF2001 for the Honda NSF250R across the 2011 to 2016 model years, built to the Standard layout detailed here; this is the only configuration Accossato specifies for the model. Match your NSF250R's exact year against the fitment tab before ordering, since no other kit or layout is listed for it.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for the AGF2001, so this kit is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
This kit includes 2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Banjo bolts and sealing washers are not confirmed as included, so check the existing hardware on the bike before fitting.
