DescriptionThe whole story▼
This three-hose kit is one of two routing options Accossato offers for the naked Streetfighter 848, built between 2012 and 2015, with each hose under the Full-length layout running independently from the master cylinder to the caliper it serves, front and rear. It suits riders who want the shortest possible independent run to each caliper rather than a line shared between the two front brakes.
Key Features
- Three-hose Full-length (F) kit for the Streetfighter 848
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings throughout, no painted option on this kit
- Each hose runs independently from the master cylinder to its own caliper
- Firmer, more direct lever feel than the stock rubber hoses
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
The three hoses are built from a woven stainless braid over the pressure line, finished with plain stainless fittings rather than a painted option on this application. The full twenty-colour sheath range still applies, so the naked Streetfighter can be finished in anything from understated black to a bright neon shade regardless of the plain stainless hardware.
Full-Length Layout Explained
Each hose on this kit makes its own direct run from the master cylinder to the caliper it feeds, with no line continuing on from one caliper to another. Accossato's Over-the-mudguard alternative for the same Streetfighter instead routes a second front line from caliper to caliper, so the choice between the two kits is one of routing preference for the front end's appearance rather than any real difference in braking performance between the two arrangements.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Ducati Streetfighter 848 built between 2012 and 2015. The same bike can instead take the Over-the-mudguard kit (AGF1222), which uses the same three-hose count but a different front routing; pick the layout that suits how the front brake lines should look before ordering, since both arrangements reach the exact same two front calipers and the single rear caliper either way, with no difference at all in braking feel between the two of them.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
3 braided hoses for the Full-length layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
