DescriptionThe whole story▼
Ducati's single-cylinder supermoto, launched for 2024 under the Hypermotard name, gets this four-hose Accossato kit built to the Standard layout, replacing the factory rubber lines on the same path they already follow between the two master cylinders and their calipers. As a newly introduced model, it currently has no alternative Accossato brake layout listed, so this Standard kit is the only braided option on offer for it.
Key Features
- Four-hose set for the Hypermotard 698 Mono, Standard (S) layout matching the stock routing
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings throughout, no painted option on this kit
- Covers the full front and rear brake circuit
- Firmer, more direct lever feel than the stock rubber hoses
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
The four hoses follow Accossato's usual construction, a woven stainless braid over the pressure line, finished with plain stainless fittings rather than a painted option on this application. The full twenty-colour sheath range is still offered, from understated black and silver through to the brighter neon shades in the catalogue, even though the hardware itself stays in its natural stainless finish. Nothing about this construction differs from the kits Accossato has supplied for larger Ducatis over many years, so the same reliability record applies to this smaller single-cylinder machine.
A New Platform, the Familiar Benefit
Even on a brand new model like this one, the reason to fit braided lines is unchanged from older Ducatis in the Accossato catalogue: rubber hoses expand slightly under sustained pressure, softening the lever over time, while a stainless braid holds its shape and keeps the bite point consistent. Because this platform's brake circuit is still new to the market, no sibling kit for a different routing exists yet.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono sold from 2024. No alternative layout or hose count is currently listed for this model, so this four-hose Standard kit is the fitment across its production run; check the Fitment tab for the latest confirmed years as Accossato extends coverage to newer model years.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
4 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
