DescriptionThe whole story▼
This third option for the front brake on this Aprilia sportsbike sends one line from the master cylinder to the right-hand caliper, then a second across to the left caliper over the mudguard, with the rear line making up the three-hose total. It is a routing choice some riders prefer for how it tidies the lines around the front wheel compared with either the Standard or Full-length alternatives Accossato also lists.
Key Features
- Three-hose Over-the-mudguard (O) kit for the RS 660
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings as standard, or painted stainless in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Second front line crosses from caliper to caliper over the mudguard
- Same braided stainless construction as the rest of the range
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
As with the other kits for this bike, the hoses are built from a stainless braid over the pressure line, and the end fittings can again be ordered bare or painted in one of five stainless finishes. Twenty sheath colours are offered on this application too, independent of which fitting finish is chosen, so the three-hose set still carries the same colour range as its five-hose sibling.
Over-the-Mudguard Layout Explained
The first line on this kit runs from the master cylinder to the right-hand front caliper, and the second then carries on from that caliper to the left one, taking a path over the mudguard instead of returning to the master cylinder on its own. The Full-length kit for the same bike instead gives each front caliper an independent line, so the two three-hose kits differ only in how the front pair is connected, not in overall hose count.
Fitment and Compatibility
This set fits the Aprilia RS 660 built between 2020 and 2024. The same bike can also take the five-hose Standard kit (AGA0210) or the Full-length kit (AGA0211); check which front-end routing suits the bike before ordering, since all three reach the same calipers by different paths through the front end and over the mudguard.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
3 braided hoses for the Over-the-mudguard layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
