Chromed is the brightest of the PZ015's CNC-machined finishes, a reflective look some riders choose specifically because an axial caliper mounted to the left, right or rear of the bike sits in plain view rather than tucked behind a radial bracket. The caliper is built to an 84 mm distance between mounting centres and a 16 mm offset, with two 34 mm aluminium pistons, a dust seal and two AGPA42 pads fitted in the chosen compound before the caliper leaves the factory.

Construction and Material Quality
This finish is applied to the CNC-machined version of the PZ015 rather than the die-cast alternative Accossato also sells, with the body checked on measuring equipment before the chrome plating goes on as an electroplated metal layer over the finished aluminium rather than a chemical oxidation treatment. The 34 mm aluminium pistons, the dust seal and the AGPA42 pads, available in organic or sintered compound, are fitted during assembly ahead of the plating stage that follows afterwards.
Chrome at Three Possible Mounting Points
Because the PZ015 can sit at the left, the right or the rear of a bike, a chromed example is noticeably more visible fitted to a front wheel in plain sight than tucked low at the rear, which is part of why some riders order chrome specifically for a front mounting position and choose a quieter oxidised finish, sold separately, for the rear. The plating itself makes no difference to which of the three positions the caliper can be bolted to on the bike, or to the pistons and pads fitted inside it.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the PZ015 for 41 models in our garage, see the Fitment tab, among them the Aprilia TUONO V4 1100, TUONO V4 1100 FACTORY and TUONO V4 1100 RR, and the Ducati Hypermotard 821, 939, 950 and 950 RVE, with 67 applications recorded. A bike outside that list needs the 84 mm mounting centres, 16 mm offset and disc thickness checked before ordering.
Road Approval
No ABE is documented by Accossato for the PZ015, so fitting it to a road-registered motorcycle in place of the original caliper needs to be cleared with a registration authority beforehand. Replacing a brake caliper is always safety-relevant work, so having it fitted and bled by a qualified workshop is recommended.
