The Sharpest Angle in the Low-Bend Range
A 90-degree fitting routes the hose directly away from the port at a right angle, which can let the line tuck in close to a caliper or master cylinder body rather than looping out and back the way a shallower bend would. This also brings the hose closer to the fitting bolt, so clearance around the bolt head is worth checking once the banjo is in place.
