DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Airoh GP 800 FIM Racing #1 is a race-ready full-face helmet built without compromise, its shell hand-laid in full carbon 12K UD for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio that defines what a genuine FIM-homologated lid can be. Developed and refined in the Airoh wind tunnel, then validated by professional riders, every detail of this helmet traces its origins to the precise specifications of a world champion.
Key Features
- Full carbon 12K UD monocoque shell — outstanding rigidity and minimal weight at approximately 1,420 g ± 50 g (size M)
- FIM homologated for sanctioned circuit racing, meeting the most demanding international competition standards
- Prominent rear spoiler engineered in the Airoh wind tunnel for aerodynamic stability at race speeds
- 2D racing visor with ATVR (Airoh Tool-less Visor Removal), A3S anti-fog system, UV resistance, scratch resistance, and tear-off ready ports — plus the included Pinlock 120 XLT Max Vision insert for absolute optical clarity
- AMLS magnetic liner removal system — the interior comes out and goes back in quickly and securely, with no fussing over press-studs
- Coolmax Superior Performance Technical Textiles interior with 2DRY microsense moisture management and Sanitized antibacterial treatment — removable, washable, and hypoallergenic
- ASN system for optimised air extraction, enhanced impact protection, and improved long-distance wearing comfort
- Hydration-pack ready — internal routing prepared for a camel bag drinking system
Shell Construction and Materials
Where other premium helmets use composite blends, the GP 800 FIM Racing #1 goes further with a full carbon 12K UD (unidirectional 12,000-filament) layup. The unidirectional weave concentrates fibre orientation for maximum tensile strength along the primary load paths, resulting in a shell that absorbs and disperses impact energy with exceptional efficiency. The glossy carbon finish is not a cosmetic wrap — it is the structural material itself, left visible as a statement of what is underneath.
Visor System and Visibility
The 2D racing visor offers an extra-wide field of vision, critical when you need full situational awareness at the limit of adhesion. The Lock System Racing secures the visor against vibration and flex at speed, while ATVR allows tool-free removal in the pits. The A3S Airoh Automatic Anti-Fog System works in conjunction with the included Pinlock 120 XLT Max Vision insert — one of the largest Pinlock lenses available — to keep your view completely clear from the first lap to the last. Tear-off tabs are pre-fitted so you can use a tear-off kit straight from the box.
Interior Comfort and Liner
The AMLS (Airoh Magnetic Liner System) fastening lets you remove the complete interior with a single motion, which matters when you need to clean the liner between race weekends or swap padding for a precise fit. Coolmax Superior Performance Technical Textiles wick perspiration actively away from the skin, while the 2DRY Microsense treatment accelerates evaporation and the Sanitized antibacterial process controls odour over repeated sessions. The liner is hypoallergenic, fully washable, and available in a consistent fit across all five sizes.
