Sprint Filter P08 Air Filter for Road & Track – MV Agusta Stradale 800 (2015–2026) CM135S

The Stradale took the Rivale and gave it panniers, a taller screen and a larger tank — the modest set of changes that turns a bike you ride on Sundays into one you can point at another country. MV dealers are thin on the ground

That is the honest reason this matters more on an MV than on most bikes. The network is small, and a specific MV Agusta part somewhere unfamiliar is not a quick errand. A paper element is something you either carry or find; an oiled cotton one means carrying the element and the oil and then finding somewhere clean to do the job properly. This one needs neither — out, blown through from the clean side, back in dry.

Loaded is a different engine

Panniers and a pillion raise the throttle opening needed for any given speed, and the demand for air rises with it. That is exactly when a partly loaded filter starts to matter, because the pressure drop across a restricted element scales with flow. Twice the filtering surface keeps the element working at a smaller fraction of its capacity through precisely the kind of day this version exists for.

Care and cleaning
