Waehrend die Stahlgrau-Farbversion desselben Dark-Shadow-Dekors kuehl grau wirkt, ist diese Version ein schlichtes, flaches Matt-Schwarz – derselbe Name, dieselbe Preisstufe, eine tatsaechlich andere Farbe statt zweier Eintraege fuer dieselbe Schale. Sharks Herstellerfotografie fuer genau diesen Farbcode beschraenkt sich auf eine einzelne Studioaufnahme statt des vollstaendigeren Satzes, der fuer die meisten Dekore dieser Reihe verfuegbar ist – dieser Eintrag stuetzt sich also auf dieses eine bestaetigte Bild statt auf Annahmen aus der Stahlgrau-Farbversion.
Schlicht, und als schlicht beschrieben
Wie bei jedem Skwal-Jet-Dekor bleibt Sharks eigenes Marketing fuer dieses Modell in Alltagssprache – Einfachheit, Mobilitaet, klare Linien – ohne Spoiler und ohne aerodynamische Behauptung in den eigenen Unterlagen, im direkten Gegensatz zum Jet-Cup-Schwestermodell mit seiner im Windkanal getesteten Heckfinne. Dark Shadow beschreibt hier eine Farbbehandlung, keine andere Konstruktionsstufe.
Schale und Verschluss
Lexan-Polycarbonat, dasselbe Material wie in der uebrigen 2027er-Skwal-Reihe, verschlossen mit einer Mikrometerschnalle – feinstufige Verstellung, in einer Bewegung geloest.
Was ECE 22.06 tatsaechlich prueft
ECE 22.06 wurde im Januar 2024 EU-weit Pflicht fuer neu zugelassene Helme, und dieser Helm ist danach zertifiziert. Der praktische Unterschied zu 22.05 ist erheblich: achtzehn Aufprallpunkte bei mehreren Geschwindigkeiten statt fuenf Punkte bei einer, ein neuer Schraegaufprall-Test gegen einen abrasiven Amboss mit verdrehender Kraftbelastung und ein erstmals bewertetes Brain Injury Criterion fuer Rotationsenergie. Die Pruefung umfasst Visier, Pinlock-Einsatz und eine eventuell montierte Kommunikationsanlage, nicht nur die blanke Schale. Die Norm lautet hier 2206, ohne FIM-Zusatz – Strassenzulassung.
Gewicht und Nackenlast
Sharks Wert ist 1.395 g (+/-50 g) fuer die kleinere der moeglichen Schalengroessen, unabhaengig davon, welche Dark-Shadow-Farbversion gewaehlt wird. Dieses Gewicht wird bei jeder Kopfbewegung ueber eine Fahrt mitgetragen, nicht nur einmalig bei einem Aufprall aufgefangen, weshalb es sich lohnt, das klar zu sagen statt als Fussnote zu behandeln.
Lueftung
Zwei vordere Einlaesse, zwei hintere Auslaesse, und ein gerader Weg dazwischen, weil kein Kinnbuegel der Luftfuehrung im Weg steht. Das ist bewusst unkompliziert, und es ist Sharks eigener veroeffentlichter Wert fuer genau diesen Helm.
Visier und Pinlock
Das Visier ist VZ670, dieselbe Familie wie beim Skwal Jet Cup und dem LED-Skwal i3 Jet: anti-kratz-beschichtet, seitlich verriegelnd, mit randseitigem Wirbelgenerator. Ein Max-Vision-Pinlock-70-Einsatz ist vormontiert mit einstellbarer Spannung, im Lieferumfang enthalten statt als Zubehoer verkauft. Klar ist die einzige fuer jeden Fahrer strassenzugelassene Toenung; Sharks Iridium- und Dunkelrauch-Toenungen fuer diese Schale sind Racing-only.
Sonnenblende und Alltag
Eine innenliegende, herunterklappbare Sonnenblende und ein brillenfreundlicher Innenzuschnitt gehoeren zur Grundausstattung. Sowohl SENA- als auch Sharktooth-Interkom-Systeme sind als kompatibel mit diesem Modell gelistet, eine breitere Kombination als bei manch anderem Skwal-Helm der Reihe.
Passform
XS bis XXL, sechs Groessen insgesamt. Die eigenen Unterlagen dieses Modells nennen keine Schalenzahl, und hier wird keine Zahl erfunden, um sie an die fuer den teureren Skwal Jet Cup bestaetigten zwei Schalen anzugleichen – das ist eine Tatsache ueber jenen Helm, nicht ueber diesen.
Windgeraeusche, ehrlich gesagt
Jeder offene Helm, auch dieser, ist bauartbedingt lauter bei Tempo als ein Integralhelm: kein Kinnbuegel, eine Visierkante naeher am Kiefer. Der Wirbelgenerator am Visier wirkt gegen Turbulenzen, macht aus einem offenen aber kein geschlossenes Gesicht. Fuer dieses Modell wurde keine Dezibelzahl veroeffentlicht, und keine erscheint hier.

Ersatzteile
Visiere sind ueber die gesamte Jet-Familie geteilt: dieser Helm, der Skwal Jet Cup und der Skwal i3 Jet stammen alle aus derselben Shark-Ersatzteilsammlung und demselben Pinlock-70-Einsatz VZ67005PINCTU.
Was dieser Helm nicht schuetzt
Ein offenes Gesicht bedeutet keinen Kinnbuegel, bei diesem Helm wie bei jedem anderen Jet-Design. Aufpralle, die bei einem Integralhelm den Kinnbereich belasten wuerden, treffen hier auf nichts Gleichwertiges. ECE 22.06 prueft, was die Schale tatsaechlich hat, nicht was ihr bewusst fehlt. Das verdient Verstaendnis vor dem Kauf eines guenstigen Jethelms ebenso wie vor dem eines teuren.
Das Schwarz selbst
Ein flaches, gleichmaessiges Matt-Schwarz ohne Farbstich, deutlich unterscheidbar vom kuehleren Grau der Stahlgrau-Farbversion. Es ist die konventionellere der beiden Dark-Shadow-Optionen, in der Stimmung naeher am einfachen Blank-Matt-Dekor als an der eigenen Stahlgrau-Schwester.
Fuer wen sich dieses Dekor eignet
Fahrer, die gezielt einen matt-schwarzen Jethelm wollen, das schlichte Blank-Matt-Dekor aber zu kahl finden, ohne eine vollstaendig bedruckte Grafik zu wollen, landen hier – der Dark-Shadow-Name und das Finish geben einer schwarzen Schale etwas Charakter, ohne eine einzige Linie Kunstwerk. Es ist eine verlaessliche, unkomplizierte Wahl.
