Eine Café-Racer-Form auf einer Schale von 2026
🟢 Die Gestaltung folgt einem einfachen Grundsatz: möglichst wenig sichtbare Technik. Was moderne Sporthelme an Spoilern und Lufteinlässen zeigen, lässt der Jarama SV weg — geblieben ist eine runde Form mit großer, flach eingesetzter Sichtöffnung.
Zugelassen ist er nach ECE 22.06 und DOT; 🔵 eine Bewertung liegt nicht vor.
Zum matten Schwarz
Matt streut das Licht, statt es zu spiegeln: Sie sehen die Silhouette, nicht die Rundung. Bei einem Helm, dessen ganzer Reiz in einer bewusst altmodischen Form liegt, ist das die konsequentere Wahl — die Kante über dem Sichtfeld und der runde Rücken treten hervor, statt von Spitzlichtern überlagert zu werden. 🔵 Der Nachteil steckt in der Pflege, und er ist bei Matt größer als bei Glanz. Eine matte Oberfläche hat eine mikroskopisch raue Struktur, in der sich Insektenreste und Straßenfilm festsetzen; wegpolieren ist keine Option, weil Polieren die Struktur glättet und dann eine glänzende Stelle hinterlässt, die sich nicht mehr angleichen lässt. Einweichen, sanft abnehmen, keine Politur, keine Wachse. 🔵 Zur Sichtbarkeit: Schwarz ist der Ton, den ein wartender Autofahrer bei bedecktem Himmel am spätesten vom Hintergrund trennt. Das ist kein Argument gegen die Farbe, aber es gehört auf den Tisch — Jacke, Warnweste und Reflexmaterial müssen die Aufgabe übernehmen, die der Helm hier nicht leistet. Ein Hinweis zur Größenwahl, der bei diesem Modell besonders zählt: Der Jarama SV endet bei XL — wer sonst XXL trägt, findet hier keine passende Größe.
HIRP, 1475 Gramm, ECE 22.06 und DOT
🟢 1475 Gramm sind für einen Thermoplast-Integralhelm ein sehr guter Wert — und im MT-Programm der beste. Ein Compositehelm käme auf 1,3 bis 1,4 kg, kostet aber ein Vielfaches.
Der Grund für das niedrige Gewicht liegt teilweise in dem, was fehlt: kein Spoiler, keine aufwendige Lüftungshardware.
Größen — das hier vor der Bestellung lesen
🔵🔵 Nur fünf Größen: XS bis XL. Das ist die relevanteste Einschränkung dieses Modells und der Grund, warum sie hier einen eigenen Abschnitt bekommt statt einer Zeile in der Tabelle.
🟢 Innerhalb dieses Bereichs gilt die übliche Regel: Wer zwischen zwei Größen liegt, nimmt die kleinere — das Futter gibt nach, die Schale nicht.
Die vollflächige Sonnenblende
🟢 Vollflächig ist bei dieser Blende keine Werbevokabel, sondern der Unterschied zur üblichen Bauform: Viele Blenden enden auf Augenbrauenhöhe und lassen unten einen hellen Streifen frei — genau dort, wo bei tief stehender Sonne das Licht hereinkommt.
Beim Jarama SV deckt sie das ganze Sichtfeld ab.
MT-V-32, die Gummilippe und die Antibeschlagscheibe zum Nachkaufen
🔵🔵 Die auffälligste Ausstattungslücke: keine Antibeschlagscheibe im Karton. Der Helm ist dafür vorbereitet — passend sind Pinlock® DKS479 und FogOff Fog012 —, aber keine davon liegt bei.
🟢 Bei europäischem Wetter ist das die erste Nachrüstung, die sich lohnt.
Wie leise er ist — und was wir wirklich wissen
🔵🔵 Zur Akustik gibt es eine Behauptung und keine Zahl. MT nennt „geringe Geräuschpegel“; eine unabhängige Messung des Jarama SV liegt nicht vor, und wir erfinden keine.
🟢 Was konstruktiv dafür spricht: wenige Kanten an der runden Schale, eine Gummidichtlippe am Visier. Was dagegen spricht: nichts Konkretes — es weiß nur niemand.
Der MT-MDHC-Verschluss
🟢 Doppelte Verzahnung ist beim MT-MDHC der technische Kern: Bei einer einfachen Ratsche trägt jeweils ein Zahn die gesamte Last, hier sind es zwei. Das ist eine Haltbarkeitsfrage, keine Komfortfrage.
Der Verschluss ist stufenfein einstellbar.
Innenfutter, Passform und Interkom-Vorbereitung
🟢 Die UCS-Vorbereitung nimmt Standard-Kommunikationssysteme auf, ohne auf eine Marke festgelegt zu sein. Wenn Ihr Interkom in fünf Jahren ersetzt wird, passt das neue vermutlich auch.
🔵 Ein System gehört nicht zum Lieferumfang.
Wo er im MT-Programm steht
🟢 Für wen dieser Helm gedacht ist: Fahrer klassischer Maschinen, die einen geschlossenen Helm wollen, der nicht nach Sportgerät aussieht — und die Wert auf geringes Gewicht legen.
🔵 Für wen nicht: alle, die XXL brauchen oder eine belegte Sicherheitsbewertung erwarten.
Wenn etwas verschleißt
🔵 Der EPS-Kern arbeitet genau einmal. Nach jedem echten Aufprall gehört der Helm ersetzt, auch wenn außen nichts zu sehen ist — von außen sind Schaumschäden nicht erkennbar.
🟢 Bis dahin sind Visier, Antibeschlagscheibe, Sonnenblende, Futter und Wangenpolster einzeln nachkaufbar.
