ADT Thermoplast-Schale
KYT fertigt die Schale des R2R aus einem hochstabilen Thermoplast-Compound, das herausragenden Aufprallschutz mit einem angenehmen Fahrgewicht in Einklang bringt. Zwei unterschiedliche Schalengrößen über den gesamten Bereich von XS bis XXL sorgen dafür, dass der Helm korrekt mit dem Kopfumfang skaliert, anstatt eine einzige übergroße Schale mit Polstern auszufüllen. Das Ergebnis ist eine präzisere Passform, ein besseres aerodynamisches Profil und eine besser vorhersehbare Schutzgeometrie — dieselbe Logik, die auch reinrassigen Renn-Helmen zugrunde liegt.
Optik und Sicht
Das Visiersystem des R2R ist auf das Fahren unter wechselnden Bedingungen ausgelegt. Die kratzfeste Scheibe mit großer Sichtöffnung bietet ein weites Sichtfeld, während der zentrale Verriegelungsmechanismus sie bei hoher Geschwindigkeit stabil hält. Wenn die Sonne tief steht oder Sie in einen Tunnel einfahren, lässt sich die integrierte innenliegende Sonnenblende über einen seitlichen Hebel sofort herunterklappen, ohne das äußere Visier zu berühren.
