Die dezente Tönung verleiht die optische Souveränität eines rennerprobten Helms, ohne die Extreme eines dunklen Visiers, und verschafft dem Aeron seinen typisch zielstrebigen, disziplinierten Look. Ob auf der Startaufstellung unter praller Mittelmeersonne oder auf einer von Bäumen gesäumten Rennstrecke mit wechselnden Schatten – das Erscheinungsbild des Visiers bleibt stets konsistent und gefasst.
Sharks Ingenieure haben die adaptive Schicht speziell für Hochleistungs-Fahrszenarien entwickelt, in denen sich die Lichtverhältnisse weit schneller ändern, als die Hände eines Fahrers reagieren können. Die photochrome Reaktion wird durch UV-Einstrahlung ausgelöst, nicht nur durch sichtbares Licht – das Visier reagiert daher auch an bewölkten Tagen spürbar, an denen Blendung die Augen dennoch ermüden kann.
