Dashed Mat zerlegt die Oberflaeche in kantige dunkle Felder ueber weissem Grund, durch die vorne ein scharfer roter Keil schneidet. Deutlich mehr Bewegung im Bild als bei Blank oder Dark Shadow, auf derselben Grundkonstruktion. Und die entscheidet sich nicht an der Grafik, sondern am Kinn: Dort sitzt ein Buegel, der sich an zwei Punkten loesen laesst, nach oben dreht und den Helm zwischen seiner geschlossenen und seiner offenen Konfiguration bewegt.
Was dieses Dekor optisch ausmacht
Der weisse Untergrund traegt ein weiches Matt statt des Hochglanzweiss aus der Blank-Reihe. Die dunklen Felder sind in den meisten abgewinkelten Bereichen ein echtes Anthrazitgrau und kein volles Schwarz — nah genug beieinander, dass nur die schaerfsten Kanten tatsaechlich schwarz bleiben. Der rote Keil ist kraeftig und gesaettigt, kein gedaempftes Burgunderrot, und deshalb steht Rot in der Farbliste dieses Artikels als eigener Wert.
Weiss und matt: was das fuer die Pflege heisst
Eine helle Flaeche zeigt Strassenfilm frueher als eine dunkle; eine matte Flaeche laesst sich nicht polieren, sondern nur reinigen. Beides zusammen bedeutet, dass dieses Dekor nach nassen Fahrten frueher ein Tuch braucht als ein dunkler Glanzhelm, dafuer aber feine Kratzspuren kaum zeigt. Poliermittel gehoeren nicht auf diesen Lack: Sie erzeugen glaenzende Stellen, die sich nicht zurueckholen lassen. Mildes Wasser mit Seife und ein weiches Tuch genuegen.
Wozu die Bauart taugt
Der OXO ist ein Klapphelm der Bauart Flip-Back. Der Kinnbereich ist beweglicher Teil der Schale, nicht ein separates Stueck, das an die Stelle eines Integralkinns geschraubt wurde. Zwei Rastpunkte geben ihn frei, danach dreht er bis zum Anschlag ueber den Scheitel und liegt dort flach an. Beide Stellungen sind nach Herstellerangabe zugelassen, P und J. Ein Helm, der lediglich als offen oder Jet bezeichnet wird, hat dagegen gar keinen Kinnbereich, den er schliessen koennte.
Einordnung des Dekors
Dashed Mat in Weiss und Rot traegt die Marken Sport und Touring statt Street: die kantige Grafik wirkt zielgerichteter als eine schlichte Stadtfarbe, waehrend der weisse Mattgrund und die Klappfunktion laengere, gemischte Tage besser bedienen als kurze Stadtwege. Wer an einem Tag Landstrasse und Autobahn kombiniert, ist hier richtig eingeordnet.
ECE 22.06 in kurzer Fassung
Seit Anfang 2024 muessen neu zugelassene Helme in der EU nach der sechsten Fassung der Regelung 22 geprueft sein. Der Unterschied zur 22.05 liegt in der Zahl der Aufschlagstellen — achtzehn statt fuenf —, in mehreren statt einer Anprallgeschwindigkeit, in einem zusaetzlichen Schraegaufprall gegen eine abrasive Platte und in einer Bewertung der Drehbelastung des Kopfes, die die alte Fassung gar nicht erhob. Geprueft wird am vollstaendig ausgeruesteten Helm mit Scheibe, Pinlock und Kommunikationsgeraet. In der Normspalte der Herstellerpreisliste steht bei allen OXO-Zeilen 2206, ohne Zusatz.
Gewicht, mit allen drei Zahlen
Datenblatt: 1.660 g, bezogen auf die kleinere Schalengroesse. SHARP an einem im Handel gekauften Exemplar: rund 1,7 kg. Redaktionswaage an einem Testgeraet: 1.880 g. Die Werte widersprechen sich nicht, sie betreffen unterschiedliche Schalen und Ausstattungen — aber die Spanne von gut zweihundert Gramm ist der Unterschied, der nach mehreren Stunden im Nacken sitzt. Eine bestaetigte Zahl fuer Groesse M gibt es nicht, also steht hier auch keine.
Was zur Lueftung belegt ist
Zwei Eintritte: einer am Kinn, einer ueber der Braue. Beide haben genau zwei Zustaende, offen oder geschlossen, ohne Zwischenraste. Eine Angabe zur Abluft veroeffentlicht Shark nicht. Diese Beschreibung fuellt die Luecke nicht auf.
Was zum Geraeusch belegt ist
Zwei Redaktionen, zwei Beobachtungen ohne Zahl. Die eine berichtet nach 750 Meilen von keinerlei Problemen, auch mit nach hinten gelegtem Kinnteil im Stadtverkehr. Die andere erwartet einen eher leisen Helm und erinnert im selben Absatz daran, dass die Vorgaengergeneration fuer Autobahntempo zu laut war. Eine Messung existiert nicht, weder fuer den geschlossenen noch fuer den offenen Zustand.
Scheibe und Toenungen
Im Karton liegt der Helm mit klarer Scheibe, freigegeben fuer alle Nutzer, mit werkseitig montiertem Pinlock 70, dessen Spannung sich nachstellen laesst, kratzfester Behandlung, mittiger Verriegelung und werkzeuglosem Wechsel. Das Zubehoerprogramm nennt eine TE50-Leichttoenung mit ausdruecklicher Tagfahrtfreigabe und fuenf Iridium-Farben mit der Einschraenkung Racing use only. Eine optische Klasse gibt Shark fuer diese Scheibenfamilie nicht an; die Angabe von der Visierseite eines anderen Modells zu uebernehmen, waere geraten und unterbleibt hier.
Zwei Schalen, zwei Teilenummern
Der Helm entsteht in zwei Formen, und deshalb gibt es jede Scheibe zweimal. Sechzehn Ersatzscheiben fuehrt Shark insgesamt, zu ungefaehr 31 bis 85 Euro, jede als Klein- und als Grossschalenversion; der Pinlock-Einsatz ebenso, mit zwei Nummern, die eine eigene Kreuzreferenztabelle bestaetigt. Bestellen nach Farbe allein reicht nicht.
Innenraum und Groessen
Sonnenblende, Aussparungen fuer Sharktooth- oder SENA-Einheiten, Brillennut, entnehmbares Futter und entnehmbare Wangenpolster, mehrdichtes EPS, mikrometrischer Ratschenverschluss. Sechs Groessen von XS bis XXL verteilen sich auf zwei Schalen, weshalb sich beim Uebergang in die groessere Form die Grundgeometrie aendert. Zur Kopfform liegt eine einzige Aussage vor, und zwar aus der Fachpresse: eine eher ovale Innenkontur, die einem Tester am eigenen Kopf zu oval war. Ob das Futter gewaschen werden darf und welche Polsterstaerken nachbestellbar sind, sagt keine Quelle.
Preis
409,99 Euro Listenpreis. Zwischen dem Spartan RS Fibre in Dark Shadow Mat mit 389,99 Euro und dem Spartan RS Carbon Skin mit beiliegender Scheibe bei 429,99 Euro, beide Integralhelme derselben Saison. Verglichen wird ausschliesslich die Zahl.
Grenzen des Modells
Nicht vorhanden: MIPS, Notfallauszug der Wangenpolster, Aufnahmen fuer Abreissfolien, Photochrom-Freigabe — Sharks IRID-Liste fuehrt nur AERON GP, AERON und RACE R PRO. Ohne Beleg: DOT, Snell, Abluftfuehrung, Dezibelwert, Waschbarkeit des Futters, Polsterstaerken. Die vier SHARP-Sterne stammen aus einem Test vom Mai 2025 und sind ein Ergebnis mit Datum. Belegt sind fuenf Jahre Garantie und die Fertigung in Portugal.
Zwei Testberichte zur Mechanik
Eine britische Redaktion fuhr das Modell ueber 750 Meilen und kam am Ende auf die volle Wertung. Dort liess sich der Kinnbuegel mit einer Hand bedienen, und die Mechanik arbeitete weicher als bei frueheren Klapphelmen des Hauses; die Passform in Groesse M beschreibt derselbe Bericht als nahezu massgeschneidert, bei sechs Innenausstattungsgroessen und zwei Schalen. Eine zweite Redaktion nennt das Gelenk stramm und robust, haelt das Entriegeln mit dicken Winterhandschuhen aber fuer etwas hakelig und beschreibt die beiden Lueftungsoeffnungen als leicht zu bedienen. Beide Einschaetzungen stammen von Testern und nicht vom Hersteller.
