DescriptionThe whole story

The SRT 800 S SX X brakes as often on a wet forest track as on dry tarmac. The B007 is ZCOO's shape for the Brembo caliper of the QJMotor SRT 800 S SX X, 85.0 mm long and 8.0 mm thick. On the QJMotor SRT 800 S SX X the B007 is now available in EXR, the compound that carries ZCOO's endurance programme.

Key Features

  • Rotor-friendly by formulation: the SRT 800 S SX X discs see a ceramic film rather than an abrasive
  • The B007 is made by Okada Corporation in Japan, the manufacturer behind ZCOO's endurance-racing programme
  • Stable friction from the first squeeze to the wear limit, so the SRT 800 S SX X brakes the same on a cold morning and at the bottom of a pass
  • The friction material and the B007 plate are made in the same Japanese plant
  • ZCOO specifies this reference for the QJMotor SRT 800 S SX X directly, not by cross-reference from a similar machine
  • Front axle only: ZCOO lists no rear pad under the B007 reference

Construction and Material Quality

The B007 shares its construction with the pads ZCOO supplies to endurance teams. The B007 plate is cut to the Brembo window rather than trimmed down from a larger blank. On the SRT 800 S SX X that translates into a lever position which does not creep as the pad thins.

Performance and Feel

There are two ways to make a pad stronger, and on the B007 ZCOO used both. On the QJMotor SRT 800 S SX X that means a lever which still has something to say at the end of the zone. For a machine as heavy as the SRT 800 S SX X that predictability is not a luxury.

Fitment and Compatibility

ZCOO's fitment data gives the B007 for the SRT 800 S SX X built between 2023 and 2026. The same B007 shape covers 111 further machines in the 2026 catalogue. Front axle only. Before ordering, check that your caliper takes a pad of 85.0 mm length and 51.0 mm height.

Road Approval

No ECE R90 type approval is documented for this pad. It appears neither in ZCOO's own catalogue nor on the European distributor's site, and no approval number is printed on the packaging data available to us. ZCOO itself describes the compound as suited to competition machines and road machines alike, but that is a description of the mixture, not a type approval. Until the distributor confirms an approval in writing, treat this as a track and competition part: in Germany a replacement brake pad without ECE R90 approval may not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads. Ask us before ordering if you need this clarified for your machine.
