Keeping it serviceable
Hand wash in lukewarm water with a little mild soap, rinse until the water runs clear, then press out the water in a towel and let the liner dry flat at room temperature. Putting it back while still damp is the fastest way to bring the smell straight back.
When to replace it
Liners wear from the inside out. The foam flattens, the helmet starts to sit lower or move more at speed, and the fabric at the forehead thins. If washing no longer freshens it, or the fit has clearly loosened compared with when the helmet was new, a new liner is the cheaper fix before anything else.

Each size from XS to XXL is its own variant, for example IN1103PBLKL for size L. Take the letter from the label in your Ridill 2 shell, not from a tape measure; the liner belongs to the helmet size.
