DescriptionThe whole story▼
Screw MFT 8.8 4x10 fzb, Öhlins part number 00382-25. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice.
Key Features
- Öhlins part number 00382-25
- Original Öhlins service part
What It Is
There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the length and head form are specific to the position. Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once.
Why the Original
Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.
How to Be Sure It Fits
Part number 00382-25 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Stainless where corrosion matters, hardened where load matters — the choice is made per position. Small parts are cheap until one of them is missing on a Friday afternoon.
Fitting and Setup Service
A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.
