DescriptionThe whole story▼
Screw 12x1.25x60, Öhlins part number 00432-06. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably.
Key Features
- Original Öhlins service part
- Öhlins part number 00432-06
What It Is
Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. A hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised assembly. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why.
Original Öhlins Part
This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.
How to Be Sure It Fits
00432-06 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Small parts are cheap until one of them is missing on a Friday afternoon. Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the length and head form are specific to the position.
Fitting and Setup Service
We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.
