What It Is
Dimensionally this is 50 mm, 1.5 mm, FKM 70, which is how it is told apart from the rest of the range. Seal heads combine the oil seal, the dust seal and the bushing in one assembly. Dust seals keep grit off the running surface; once they are torn, the oil seal behind them has a short life. Seals harden with heat and age even when the machine has not been ridden much.
