What It Is
Öhlins gives it as 18 mm, 61 mm, 32 mm; nothing about that is approximate. Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount. Spherical bearings in the eye let the damper move without binding as the linkage arcs. The eye takes the entire load path from wheel to chassis.
