In the Workshop
The ISS115RC goes on with the R7 on its stand and nothing dismantled. Check full steering lock on the R7 before you ride — the guard must not touch the tank or screen. Instructions are in the box; the R7 needs no modification.
Choosing the Adapter
At LighTech the guard and the adapter are two part numbers; on this page they are one choice. Adapters are not interchangeable between models; the Yamaha R7 has its own. On the R7 the guard goes on with KPL311, which comes with it as long as the “Adapter” option keeps its preselected value. Pick “Without Adapter” only if the R7 already carries KPL311.
Road Approval and Regulations
Many organisers now check for a brake lever guard before an R7 goes onto the circuit. The ISS115RC comes without approval paperwork for road use. For road use on an R7 in Germany, clarify with your inspection body whether the fitted guard is acceptable.
