DescriptionThe whole story▼
A throttle housing cut specifically for the Tuono 660's wide handlebar. The JP CO AP660TS carries the integrated right-hand switch block.
Key Features
- Aprilia Tuono 660 (2021–2024)
- Integrated right-hand switch block
- Machined from a single block of Ergal 7075
- Replaces housing and switch together
- Plug-and-play on the original connector
- Black, blue, red or titanium anodising
Shaped for a One-Piece Bar
The Tuono uses a wide handlebar rather than clip-ons, which changes the angle at which cables leave the throttle assembly. A housing profiled for that routes them cleanly where a body designed around the RS 660's geometry does not.
The Practical 660
Upright bars, a slightly softer state of tune and no fairing. The Tuono is the version most owners would be better served by, and a substantial number of them buy the RS anyway because it looks like a sports bike.
Cruise Control as Standard
On a 95 hp middleweight naked that is unusual, and it is one of several places where Aprilia specified above the class. The controls for it and for the riding modes are worked constantly on a bike used for real journeys.
The Switch Is Inside
Aprilia builds the right-hand controls into the throttle housing, so a worn contact means the complete assembly. This unit replaces both from a single billet using the motorcycle's own connector.
Nothing Deflects Anything
A token flyscreen and no fairing. Rain reaches the controls at road speed and stays there, and a casting with a clipped plastic cover has a joint running through exactly the area where that matters.
Four Finishes
Black, blue, red and titanium, anodised through the surface. Against the Tuono's own colours, red is already present on the bodywork and reads as a continuation rather than an addition.
Milled From One Block
With sealed switch elements inside. The bore the throttle tube runs in is cut rather than cast, which keeps the position sensor reading consistently across years of ordinary use.
