DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ACS 050 throttle housing for the Ducati Scrambler 800 (2023–2026) replaces the factory plastic cover with a part machined entirely from solid Ergal. Over years of everyday riding, it holds up far better than the original and keeps the throttle's electronics better protected if the bike tips over.
Key Features
- Ducati Scrambler 800 (2023–2026)
- Machined from one block of solid Ergal, not plastic
- Far more durable than the factory cover over the long term
- Protects the throttle's internal electronics if the bike falls
- Fits the existing mounting points without modification
A Part Built to Last Years, Not Seasons
The factory housing is a plastic cover that can show its age over several seasons of use, through sun exposure, temperature swings, and general wear. This part is machined from solid Ergal instead, a material that simply does not age the same way.
Why Durability Matters Here
This bike's model years span 2023 through 2026, meaning many of these housings will see years of ownership. A part that is significantly more durable than plastic from the start is worth more the longer the bike stays in use.
Protection for the Electronics Underneath
The ride-by-wire throttle's internal electronics sit behind this cover, and that is exactly what benefits if the bike ever goes down: a solid Ergal housing absorbs more of an impact than a plastic one would.
A Bike Often Parked, Not Just Ridden
The Scrambler 800 does a lot of its riding in everyday, low-speed settings, parking and manoeuvring at a standstill, where a tip-over on a kerb stand or uneven ground is a realistic, if minor, everyday risk.
A Direct Fit for This Model
JetPrime machines this housing to match the Scrambler 800's own throttle assembly, so it replaces the factory cover using the same mounting points already in place. No extra parts or adapters are needed, and the cover goes on in roughly the same time it takes to remove the old plastic one.
