DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ES 007 PAIR solenoid eliminator is a plug-and-play device for the Ducati Monster V2 that bypasses the secondary air injection solenoid valve circuit. It allows the solenoid to be removed entirely while supplying the ECU with the signal it expects, so no fault codes appear once the valve is gone.
Key Features
- Ducati Monster V2 (2026)
- Bypasses the PAIR solenoid valve circuit electronically
- Plug-and-play fitment, no wiring modifications needed
- Allows the solenoid valve to be removed without ECU errors
- Matched to the Ducati Monster V2 wiring loom
- Pairs with the eliminator cover for a complete PAIR removal
What the PAIR solenoid normally does
The PAIR solenoid valve on a Monster V2 opens and closes the path that feeds fresh air into the exhaust ports to help burn off unspent fuel, a function tied purely to road emissions compliance rather than engine performance. Removing it has no bearing on how the engine actually runs or performs.
How the bypass works
This eliminator sits in place of the solenoid connector and feeds the ECU the same electrical signal the valve would normally return, so the control unit sees a circuit that reads as present and functioning even though the physical valve has been unplugged.
Plug-and-play fitment on the Monster V2
The connector on the JP ES 007 matches the Monster V2 loom directly, so it clips into the existing harness without cutting wires, splicing connectors or adding relays, and the solenoid itself can then be lifted out complete. That means the Monster V2's dashboard shows no warning once the swap is complete.
Working alongside the cover plates
Removing the solenoid still leaves an open port on the airbox and head, which the matching JP ES 071 cover and plug set is designed to close, making the two parts a natural pairing for a full PAIR removal. Fitting both together keeps the whole PAIR removal to a single short session in the workshop.
No fault codes after removal
Because the eliminator maintains a continuous, expected signal, the Monster V2 ECU does not log a fault or trigger a warning light once the physical solenoid valve is taken off the bike. The physical valve can then be stored or discarded without affecting how the bike runs or starts.
