DescriptionThe whole story▼
Both mirror bodies in autoclave carbon. What arrives is the housing and the stem, moulded in one piece per side. The mirror glass and the turn indicator are not included and have to come off your original mirrors.
Key Features
- Left and right mirror body as a matched set
- 200 Plain weave, clear coat, matt, satin or raw
- Autoclave-cured housing and stem in one moulding
- Glass and indicator transferred from the originals
- Single sides available as MD-9912-C86L and MD-9912-C86R
Read This Before Ordering
On a Panigale the front turn indicators live inside the mirrors. This set gives you the carbon shells for them and nothing else, which means two regulated components, the mirror surface and the indicator, have to be moved across and end up in the right place.
That is a job, not a swap. If either original is cracked, scratched or has a broken indicator lens, this is the moment that becomes a problem, because the carbon body does not bring a replacement with it.
What Has to Be Right Afterwards
Mirror field of view and indicator visibility are both prescribed in most markets, and both depend on where the housing ends up. Sit on the bike in your normal riding position and check what you can actually see behind you, then walk around the front and confirm both indicators are visible from the angles the rules require.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati 899 Panigale, model years 2013 to 2015, using the original mirror glass, indicator units and mounting hardware.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this set. Mirrors and indicators are regulated items in every market this bike is ridden in, so settle the question with your inspection authority before fitting rather than after.
Fitting
Work on one side at a time with the other still assembled as a reference. Transfer the glass first, then the indicator and its wiring, and test both indicators before either mirror goes back on the bike.
