DescriptionThe whole story▼
The lower right fairing panel is cut around the exhaust collector and the header routing, which makes it a different moulding from the left rather than a mirror image. On the M1000RR it is also the panel that sits closest to the hottest part of the machine.
Key Features
- Lower fairing side panel, right, direct replacement
- 245 Twill weave in clear coat, matt or raw
- Autoclave-cured laminate, dimensionally stable beside the exhaust collector
- Original mounting points, fasteners and quick-release fixings
- Sold individually; not interchangeable with the left panel
Check It Against an Aftermarket System
Almost every M1000RR that sees a circuit has a race exhaust on it within a year, and the collector position is the thing most likely to differ from standard. This panel is cut for the original system.
Offer it up cold and look along the gap before the fasteners go in. Where an aftermarket system is fitted, a few millimetres of adjustment at the mounting usually resolves it; where it does not, better to find out on the bench than after a session.
Fitment and Compatibility
BMW M1000RR, model years 2023 and 2024, right-hand side. The left panel is a separate article. It does not fit the S1000RR or the 2025 M.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. Treat it as replacement bodywork and confirm the position for your own registration before road use.
Heat and Lacquer Over a Season
The laminate itself is unaffected by the temperatures reached here, even with a race system fitted. Lacquer is the layer that changes, and on a motorcycle that spends sessions at sustained high load it changes faster than it would on the road.
Raw removes the question and is the cheapest of the three. Where the machine is a road bike with occasional track use, matt is a reasonable middle. Clear coat on this particular panel will show its history soonest.
